The files are designed for manual and mechanical processing of parts and workpieces made of metal, plastic, wood and other materials.
Some operations for which files are used:

• Sawing is the removal of a thin layer of material from the surface before the product acquires the required shape and dimensions.
• Stripping is the cleaning of a product from traces of corrosion, scale and various contaminants.
• Surface treatment of complex profiles (grooves, recesses) and holes.
• Bringing the surface to the required cleanliness — from rough to finishing clean treatment.
• Sharpening of cutting tools, including saws and chains.
• Restoration of threaded connections.

Pretreatment of tires and other rubber products before gluing them.
